Mungkin karena aku bukan ditakdirkan untuk bersamanya.
Mungkin karena ini terlalu cepat.
Mungkin karena dia yang terbiasa dengan semua wanita disisinya.
Mungkin karena aku yang berharap lebih padanya.
Mungkin karena aku merasa seakan-akan aku-lah wanita satu-satunya yang ia miliki.
Mungkin karena aku terlalu sayang.
Mungkin karena aku telah terjatuh.

Atau mungkin karena aku yang terlalu naif?
Atau mungkin aku yang terlalu bahagia dengan hubungan ini?
Atau mungkinkah, aku terlalu bodoh untuk menyikapi sikap perhatianmu selama ini padaku? Sehingga aku menutup mata pada ketidakpastian jawaban yang seharusnya kudapatkan;
Mungkinkah permintaan hatiku ini akan terjawab?

a Wish

Cinta.

Satu kata yang emang nggak bisa dipungkiri memiliki jutaan arti di dalam setiap kehidupan. Ia bagaikan mentari yang selalu menyinari, atau bagaikan pisau yang dapat mengiris hati. Kebanyakan orang di dunia ini terkadang memimpikan sebuah arti cinta yang sesungguhnya, dimana adanya aku dan kamu dan tidak ada yang dapat memisahkan.

Oke, Back to Earth. Aku nggak pernah bosan buat ngomongin masalah yang satu ini. Aku sering ngebayangin dan menghayal jika suatu hari nanti akan menemukan sebuah cinta yang sesungguhnya. Aku tidak peduli orang bilang kalau aku lebay, drama, or whatever— I really fucking don't care with that! yang aku peduliin itu ya masa depanku! Aku terkadang capek nunggu. Nunggu datengnya cinta itu. And I'm in high school now, when people mostly meet their soulmate, and I can only dwell in ignorance of this atmosphere. Honestly, aku sering iri liat anak-anak yang seumuran samaku bisa jalan bareng orang yang ia sayangi, dan menyayanginya juga. Suka nyesek gitu, bukannya karena apa-apa tapi aku bosan dengan kesendirianku. Aku menyadari satu hal, pria takut dengan sebuah komitmen, dan aku lah wanita yang berpegang teguh pada komitmen. Karena menurutku, untuk apa bermain-main kalau emang bisa melanjuti hubungan ke tahap yang lebih serius? atau, karena aku masih SMA, apa salahnya kalau aku lebih ingin terbuka dan menginginkan pasanganku melakukan hal sebaliknya? atau aku merasa lebih peka dan mengerti dengan pasanganku lalu mereka beranggapan kalau aku perempuan yang aneh.

Aku sering baca novel roman, teen fiction. Temen aku pernah bilang, aku terlalu larut dalam situasi novel yang aku baca. Nggak jarang, mereka kesel karena aku terlalu drama. What the hell, I love reading, much! dan aku baca novel untuk ngilangin kejenuhanku. Lagian dengan aku baca novel aku jadi lebih mengerti dengan kehidupan. Terlebih cinta. Aduh, kalo soal cinta-cintaan di novel, aku udah bosen deh. Kebanyakan kan novel kayak gitu isinya. Dan mungkin itu yang buat aku sering ngayal berlebihan. Mungkin kata-kata temenku bener juga...

Tapi aku nggak boleh nyerah gitu aja!
Aku yakin, suatu hari nanti aku bakalan nemuin cinta sejatiku. Dan kisah cintaku akan lebih baik daripada novel-novel yang selama ini aku baca. Aku yakin, cinta bakalan datang padaku disaat aku nggak sadar dan tidak terlalu memikirkannya. Ahh, tidak memikirkan cinta? apa aku bisa...

haloo blog, udah lama banget nih nggak nge blog lagi. kebetulan aja ni tangan lagi gatel pengen ngetik, dan akhirnya nyampe ke blog yang jelek ini wkwk

Introduce MYSELF.

Hi, I'm Poppy. I love the number 7. I was born in July on a Christmas tree farm. I like imagining what life was like hundreds of years ago. I have blurry eyesight. My favorite thing in life is writing about life, specifically the parts of life concerning love. Because, as far as I'm concerned, love is absolutely everything.

I'm easily excited, thrilled, scared, and shocked. I'm 15 now, but I never stopped jumping up and down when something wonderful happens. My biggest fear is getting bad news. Or, letting someone down. I really love showing people what I meant when I wrote a song, so my shows are very theatrical. I knock on wood constantly. I have a cat named Meredith. She's named after my favorite character on Grey's Anatomy, and she's fantastic. I live in Nashville, a magical land where 99% of the people are friendly and courteous drivers who let you in and don't honk at you.

I go into a trance when I'm in an antique store. I don't like it when something or someone turns out to be different than what you originally thought. Like when you're shopping and you find a really cute dress, only to realize it’s actually a strange jumpsuit situation. But I mostly don't like it when it happens with people. I love my friends and I'm always making new ones. I don't really think you can ever stop making new friends or learning about as many new things as possible. I also don't think you should ever take life so seriously that you forget to play.

I can't wait for so many things. But mostly I can't wait to see you, whether it's in a crowd or a coffee shop. Thank you for listening, showing up, reading, and taking such good care of me.

Berantakan

Sebelumnya, gue mau ngucapin SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL ADHA 1434 H. MOHON MAAF LAHIR BATIN yaa buat beberapa orang yang sering gue isengin bahkan sampe hampir dendam sama gue.
Nah, karena hari ini hari raya kurban gue jadi pengen nge blog tentang itu tuh. tangan gue gatel banget kalo sampe nggak megang keyboard #alahh.

kadang-kadang gue heran sendiri liat imam sholat yang ada di kota padang ini. masa iya hasil sedekah sama infak orang di sebut-sebut? malah pake toa pulak lagi. padahal itu kan juga udah ngulur-ngulur waktu. yang tadinya sholatnya mabrur nih, jadi nggak ada gunanya lagi. sama aja kayak sholat biasa-biasa. nah tiba-tiba otak gue konslet tadi pas gue lagi sholat. gue mikir, mungkin kalo gue menentang kebiasaan yang gue rasa udah turun-temurun ini gue bisa kayak tokoh di film yang tadi malam gue tonton, kalo nggak salah judulnya "Sang Pencerah". haha. sempet sih gue berfikir buat ngelakuin hal yang dilakuin sama tokoh yang ada di film itu, tapi karena gue inget nyali gue itu cuma secuil, hancur lah harapan itu dalam sekejap. padahal ya kalo difikir-fikir, waktu gue kecil dulu gue sering berkhayal bakalan jadi orang yang buat banyak umat yang dulu agamanya non islam jadi masuk islam semua(cuma khayalan). tapi berhubung otak gue tiba-tiba aja nyambung lagi gara-gara tindakan heroisme pak ustad yang salah tempat, gue jadi balik sadar lagi, dan tertegunlah gue gara-gara ngeliat tingkah si ustad. ckckck, ternyata, nggak cuma di sekolah aja gue belajar PKN, di mesjid jugak ada. bener-bener fenomenal. :|

Mungkin ini efek dari apa yang menjadi santapan ku setiap malam, sebuah novel. Jelas sekali! seharusnya kejadian ini terjadi pada tokoh fiksi novel favoritku, nah sekarang kenapa aku harus ikut-ikutan mengalaminya juga?

Jelas sudah. Masalahnya makin bertambah membingungkan sekarang. Dia adalah Mantan Pacar Sahabatku dan sekaligus dia adalah Teman Dekatku. Disaat dia menyatakan perasaannya, sebenarnya aku senang. Namun, rasa galau langsung menghampiriku mengingat apa dan siapa dia di dalam kehidupanku. Jujur, aku ingin berterus terang, bahwa i don't have some feel for you, i just wanna you to be my friend. 

Tapi sialnya dia malah langsung meng-unconnecting server-nya. Huft.
